Corona GeeK Hangout – Episode 1 – Corona Enterprise and iPhone 5
Yesterday I had the pleasure of hosting the very first Corona Geek On Air Hangout to discuss all things related to mobile development using the Corona SDK. I was joined by Dr. Brian Burton, author of Mobile App Development with Corona: Getting Started.
During the On Air Hangout we discussed some of the lastest Corona SDK latest build notes, Corona announcements, corona blog highlights, device news, and API trivia. We talked about the new Corona Enterprise edition and what the upcoming iPhone 5 screen changes will mean to Corona developers.
My short term goal for the show was mainly to kick things off and work out any recording issues, but my long term show goal is to focus on highlighting important Corona updates, top industry news, and foundational API topics. There’s a lot going on in mobile development and with the Corona SDK in particular. The Corona Geek show will work to pull it all together so that both new Corona developers and seasoned ones will be able to find the information they need to stay ahead of the curve.
Right now the Corona Geek Hangouts are scheduled to occur every Monday at 2pm CST. So, you are welcome to join us on the Corona Geek +Page where you can ask questions, share insights, and help us make Corona Geek a valuable resource for the Corona SDK community.
Between each hangout we’ll be working hard to bring you special interviews, app reviews, and other mobile news that’s relevant to mobile development and the Corona SDK. If you’d like to write an article or have your app reviewed, fill out this form. I’d love to talk with you.
Thanks for reading and watching,
Charles McKeever
