App of the Week: The Amazing Funfair Games

Funfair Games brings you back to summer nights of cotton candy and rickety fair rides, where the prospect of winning a teddy bear lures you to the carnival. Created by 3ID Studios, Funfair Games features a set of quite simple, yet nostalgia-educing games with stunning illustrations.

Funfair Games is complete with four carnival-inspired games:

Water Games: While out at sea, you must targets creatures and objects that pop up among the waves. The more objects you hit in 60 seconds with a trusty set of baseballs, the higher your score. Of all the featured games in Funfair Games, this was my favorite of the bunch.

Candy Factory: The candy machines are working overtime and producing sweets at a super-speed rate. Tap as many candies and clocks as possible as they float in a linear fashion along the screen – just make sure to avoid tapping disastrous bombs.

The Incredible Amigos: Three infamous crooks are on exhibit at the carnival – it’s your job to tap and shoot baseballs at them as they open and shut their mouths.

Midnight: When activities wind down and the lights go out, the carnival shows a spooky face. Tap the the light-up spiders, pumpkins and other creatures as quickly as possible on the screen, but make sure to avoid the bombs to maximize your score.
